Singer, guitar player and composer Ditka Čepin comes from a musical family from Prevalje and is surrounded by music since her birth. She was nine years old when she stood on a big stage for the first time as she performed at the children’s festival Kristalček, and a few years later she won first prize at the children’s festival Fens in Izola with her song Album s slikami.

In 2013, she released her first album Ne bodi kot drugi with ten songs, including Dreamer that was very successful at a prestigious songwriter competition in London, and the title song, thanks to the Slovenian TV show Dobro jutro (Big TV Wedding), became a new wedding hymn in Slovenia. In September last year, she released her second album Ne spreminjaj me with ten poems by the Slovenian poet Feri Lainšček, for which she wrote the music together with her father Gorazd.
