Alfi in njegovi muzikanti

Alfi Nipič will this year be celebrating 55 years of his work as a professional musician. His profession was entered into his employment booklet in 1962. Since then, Alfi has travelled all around the world, and also all around Slovenia.

He started his career in popular music and he created numerous memorable songs, many of which have become legendary, like Silvestrski poljub, Štajerc, Žametne noči, Poljane dom prelepih dni, Vračam se domov. There is also his career with the Avsenik ensemble with an even greater list of hits. At his 50th anniversary he received the National Order for a continuous musical career and for promoting Slovenian musical traditions among Slovenians at home and abroad.

Maybe this time at midnight we will not be able to hear his famous New Year’s Eve song Silvestrski poljub, but we will definitely hear the one that characterises his life the most – Ostal bom muzikant (I will stay a musician)!
